Kim
Founder of Teal Moon Wellness
Helping people feel better in their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and create lives that feel more aligned, intentional, and fulfilling.
Whether you arrive seeking relief from physical tension, support through a life transition, greater confidence, or simply a place where you can finally exhale, my goal is always the same: To meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.
Because wellness isn't about becoming someone new. It's about reconnecting with who you've always been.

How The Zen Wrangler Came to Be
The Zen Wrangler wasn't created from a business plan.
It grew from a genuine curiosity about why people feel disconnected from themselves in the first place and what actually helps them find their way back.
Before wellness became my profession, I spent years building relationships, solving problems, and finding success in corporate sales and marketing. Along the way, I noticed something fascinating: stress, grief, pressure, self-doubt, and life's challenges have a way of showing up in the body whether we acknowledge them or not.
That curiosity eventually led me into therapeutic bodywork, energy work, sound healing, hypnotherapy, and somatic coaching.
What began as a desire to help people feel better physically evolved into a passion for helping them feel better as a whole.
Today, The Zen Wrangler Bodyworks and Teal Moon Wellness reflect that philosophy by supporting both restoration and transformation through personalized care and meaningful connection.

A Lifelong Student of Wellness
While certifications matter, what matters most is how those skills combined with life experiences come together to support the individual sitting across from me.
Professional training includes:
✦ Graduate of the exceptional Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy ✦ Licensed Massage Therapist ✦ Certified Sound Healer & Vibrational Practitioner ✦ Reiki Master Teacher
✦ Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist ✦ Certified Somatic Coach
✦ Mindful Expressionism® Practitioner Specializing in head, neck, face, jaw, and TMJ-dysfunction focused bodywork
Each year brings new learnings, deeper understanding, and fresh perspectives.
Because mastery isn't a destination.
It's a lifelong practice.

The Real Goal
Every person arrives with a different story.
Some are carrying physical tension.
Some are navigating change.
Some simply need a place where nobody needs anything from them for a little while.
While every experience is unique, clients often leave feeling:
✦ More relaxed ✦ More grounded ✦ Less physically tense ✦ Mentally clearer ✦ Emotionally lighter ✦ Better rested ✦ More connected to themselves ✦ Ready to move forward with greater ease
Many people don't realize how much they've been carrying until they finally put it down.

Slow Down. Wander. Stay Awhile.
One of my favorite things about having a studio in Old Town Lafayette is that your wellness experience doesn't have to end when your appointment does.
Suggestions directly from Kim-
Sipping a warm or cold delicious beverage while finishing your workday prior to your session at East Simpson Coffee Company - less than a block away, is a fantastic way to get into relaxation and chill mode.
Browsing the beautiful finds at Thalken, Vintrey Honest Goods, Tibetan Souvenirs, or Silver Peak Jewelry Arts is a wonderful afternoon stroll down Public Road.
Explore the creativity of Kaleidoscope Fine Art Gallery or stop into Little Herbal Apothecary for a little botanical magic.
Grab lunch or dinner at nearby Community, Teocalli Cocina, or Ghost Box Pizza.
Pick up something sweet from Stam Chocolates.
Or even end the day with gorgeous mountain views and cider flights at Acreage by Stem Ciders.
Your appointment becomes more than self-care. It becomes a retreat.
A reminder that life doesn't always have to be rushed.

Beyond the Treatment Room
✦ I'm endlessly fascinated by why people do what they do.
✦ I believe laughter is highly underrated medicine.
✦ I'm equally at home talking about business strategy, personal growth, wellness, or the meaning of life.
✦ I love supporting local businesses and building community.
✦ I'm a lifelong learner and professional curiosity enthusiast.
✦ If given the choice, I'll almost always choose live music, great conversation, and a beautiful Colorado sunset.
✦ Coffee, creativity, and cosmic cowgirl energy are recurring themes in my life.
✦ I firmly believe self-care should feel enjoyable - not like another item on your to-do list.
✦ Back in 2018, I heard the 300 days of sunshine and mountains calling me to move to Colorado. Born and raised in northern Wisconsin, I enjoy heading back to see my family and friends while having summer fun at the lake. I also enjoy kayaking, camping and traveling with my husband, Jesse, and our dogs, Friday and Shiva.
